Finally, the NPHS Jazz Choir - we’ve got some more new state champions! Congratulations to them on receiving 1st place for Large Jazz Vocal Ensemble!

What a way to end our trip to state! ❤️🎶

Congratulations to the NPHS Treble choir for receiving 3rd place in the contemporary A’Capella category!

This was such a difficult piece that they spent so much time learning. Fantastic job! ❤️🎶

The NPHS Bands came away with a command as well! A massive congratulations to Sophomore, Anneliese Holsing for winning 1st command for Alto Saxophone Solo, “Czardas.”

She played absolutely beautifully! ❤️💙🎷

Wonderful job to her accompanist, Scott Hansen as well!

Day 2 announcements incoming!

So excited to announce that Nora Sterner earned the NPHS Choirs another command, and for the 2nd year in a row! 1st place classical vocal solo, singing “In Uomini, In Soldati” from Cosi fan Tutte!

Nora worked incredibly hard on this piece from the notes, to the Italian diction, to the knowledge and translation, and the character! She represented us so well last night and the audience loved her!

Congratulations Nora! 💗🎶

And a big thank you to her wonderful accompanist, Dr. Jaunelle Celaire!

Last but absolutely not least, a huge congratulations to members of the NPHS Concert Choir and new state champions…. “Masquerade” received 1st Place! 💙❤️🎶

I am so proud of you all for your stellar performances today. Onstage and off, North Pole High is lucky to be represented by such incredible students. What an incredible way to end our long and busy year! You have been going and going since August from thing to thing and the hard work has absolutely paid off.

A massive shoutout and thank you to their incredible accompanist Michelle Farrell! We are so lucky to have you with us!

Now we’re off to bed for day 2 tomorrow!

Congratulations to Joey Rush and Nora Sterner for receiving 2nd place overall for their musical theater duet! These two worked incredibly hard on this piece and it truly showed. Fantastic job representing North Pole so well today! ❤️🎶💙
