What? Cowboys? We’ll, I’ve had this image in my head for quite a while in my pile of “Imma gonna paint this someday “. Figured my upcoming show on July 10 would be a good reason to bring it into reality.
Let’s be honest, this piece isn’t about cowboys is it? I was fascinated with the juxtaposition of these two themes in contrast to the other. I mean, haven’t we all found ourselves in one time or another in a situation so foreign we wonder if we were dreaming?
“The Big Dance” 48x48, oil. Please contact the gallery to inquire.

Mostly lithos and some great drawings, saved the day by stopping by perhaps my favorite painting in their entire collection, George Bellows “Frankie the Organ Boy” always blows me away! Great things to learn in this painting.
