Open Mic Nite in North Platte

Open Mic Nite in North Platte Entertainment for all, by all. Open Mic Nite is held at the Lincoln Highway RV Park. No admission charge. A donation is much appreciated.

Open Mic brings newcomers and established performers together twice a month from 7-10 p.m. -- second and fourth Thursday nights (subject to change.) Refreshments, sandwiches, snacks, drinks and beer on sale at the counter.

Reminder Friends and neighbors -- the next Open Mic Nite will be this Friday, July 24 from 7:30-10 p.m. in the party room of the North Platte Senior Center, 901 E. 10th St.
Presentations connected to the nation's 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence will be fashionable, or do whatever you'd like, enjoy the freedom of life in our wonderful country. Don't worry. Be happy.

Friends and neighbors, it's coming! The next Open Mic Nite will be held on Friday, July 24 from 7:30-10 p.m.

Let's start a half-hour later than the last time, to better mesh with the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

Songs, poems, jokes, readings and anything related to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence will be most appropriate, but of course you can anything you like; it's a free country!

Due to the hub-bub and other activities during Nebraskaland Days, there will not be an Open Mic Nite in June. We'll plan to have a great time on the fourth Friday in July -- July 24.

We're taking nominations for a theme for the July get-together. Just post it here or send a direct message.
