Last weekend, our Dance team attended Savage IDX Omaha for the first time and it was a fantastic experience! Not only was the faculty wonderful and the classes were full of growth and learning, but the competition was great and the kids did fantastic! We ended the weekend with platinum’s for both of our solos and…
Kids’s got second place overall in the teen large group division and also received a choreography award
Bling got first place overall in teen large group division, and also received studio, stand out award and performed in the closing show on Sunday
Cinderella got a platinum and took second overall in junior small group division
VRoom got a platinum and seventh overall in teen small group division
Train wreck got a savage icon and 4th overall in teen small group division
Colin and Gabby‘s duet, PYT, got a Savage icon and third overall
Colin and Ryan’s contemporary duet, exile, got a savage icon and second overall
On top of that, Gabby won a hip hop scholarship, Remi Jenkins won a Ballet scholarship, Gabby and Colin and Quinn were all Savage icon finalists… And Quinn won Savage icon in the senior Ballroom along with an invitation to be part of their assistant program next year.
And Quinn, Colin, Ryan and Michael were all chosen from the teen/senior room to be on the hip-hop crew for the closing show!
It was a really great weekend and we are excited to go back next year!
