There’s one of our favorite parts of owning Birdwood Beef that has nothing to do with selling beef—it’s the conversations.

We love swapping ideas with customers about different cuts, cooking methods, favorite seasonings, and all the little tips that make a great meal even better.

On Tuesday, we learned about a seasoning we’d never tried before. Then this afternoon, we arrived at the store to find the sweetest surprise tied to our front door with the kindest note.

As luck would have it, I actually had burgers thawing in the sink at home! (If you know us, you know we’re usually not that prepared! 😂)

We can’t wait to try all three seasonings!

To the wonderful customer who dropped these off—thank you. Your thoughtfulness means more than you know, and we can’t wait to hear more about your favorites the next time you stop in.

Moments like this remind us why we love what we do. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share recipes, send us photos of your finished meals, tell us what worked (or didn’t!), and introduce us to something new. Those conversations have become one of the best parts of Birdwood Beef, and we truly couldn’t do it without all of you. ❤️

*the cooked burgers were ate before pictures could be taken. They were a hit!

🔥 T-BONES ARE BACK! 🔥

The king of two worlds has returned.

T-Bone steaks are one of the most recognizable cuts of beef because they give you two premium steaks in one. On one side of the bone is a tender filet, and on the other is a flavorful New York strip. The signature T-shaped bone separates the two and helps add extra flavor while grilling.

Whether you’re feeding the family or treating yourself to a steakhouse-quality meal at home, a T-Bone is hard to beat.

🥩 Grilling Tip:
Take your steak out of the fridge 30-45 minutes before cooking. Season generously with salt and pepper, then grill over high heat until you get a beautiful crust. Finish over indirect heat if needed, and always let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing to keep those juices where they belong.

Shop T-Bone steaks at birdwoodbeef.com.

New in the case — Picanha (pronounced pee-KAHN-yah). One of the most prized cuts in Brazilian-style cuts.

If you’ve never heard of it, you’re not alone — but it might become your new favorite cut.

Picanha comes from the top sirloin and is known for its signature fat cap on top. That layer melts as it cooks, keeping the meat juicy and adding incredible flavor without needing much seasoning.

Think of it as a cross between a steak and a roast — simple, tender, and full of beef flavor.

How to cook it:
• Leave the fat cap on
• Season with salt and pepper
• Grill or roast until medium-rare
• Slice thin, against the grain

It’s easy, forgiving, and hard to mess up — perfect if you’re looking to try something a little different without overcomplicating dinner.

Ranch-raised, right here at home. Come grab one and give it a try.
