The North Platte Rec Center is now OPEN!!! In case you needed a few more sneak peeks, here you go!

Important things to keep in mind when you visit:
- The Aquatic Facility will close 30 minutes before the Rec Center.
- Waterslides and spray features turn on at 1 PM.
- Riders must be 48" or taller to use the waterslide.
- Children under 48" must stay within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian
- Adult swim is from 12–1 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Plan to enter the building through our North entrance or our new South entrance.

Crews have started dismantling the 1976 North Platte Rec Center indoor pool dome!

The Rec Center will re-open on June 15, where you'll be able to enjoy several BRAND NEW features, including a NEW POOL, hot tub, water slides, sauna, cashier stand, and main entrance! 🥽🏊‍♂️🛝

In addition to these new amenities, the locker rooms, weight rooms, game room, fitness room, and gym will be reopening.

A Los Angeles firm won the North Platte City Council's 7-0 endorsement Tuesday to lead the process of relocating and rebuilding the city's skate park as voters directed in 2022.

Recreation Projects open house and presentation: RDG, the architecture firm for the NP recreation project, along with the local architect team, is onsite today at City Hall to provide updated design images and descriptions, video tour and a virtual reality walk-through of the facility.

The open house is at City Hall today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with formal, 20 minute, presentations at 10 a.m. and at noon. Stop by and see the progress!
