Alright y’all!
While I’m on medical leave, I’m hoping to spend some of my downtime making art!
One of my goals is to put together a bunch of tattoo flash so that when I’m back in the shop, I can really focus on building consistency and improving my skills.
As much as I love bringing all of your custom ideas to life, imagine how much better those pieces will be when every line is consistent, every shade is smooth, and those color blends are buttery!
So I need your help! Send me themes, ideas, or things you’d love to see turned into flash. Spooky, silly, weird, whimsical, traditional… whatever you've got!
All of my flash will be forever repeatable, and that's intentional. Repetition is how we learn, build confidence, and get better at what we do. Plus, I kind of love the idea of seeing my artwork out in the world on different people.
I'll still be taking custom requests, just not quite as frequently. I want to make sure I'm giving every client my best work, but I also want to find a balance that lets me save some of that creative energy for myself.
More than anything, I want to get back to the tattoo culture that made me fall in love with this whole thing in the first place. Hanging out in the shop, flipping through flash, finding something you love, and getting tattooed just because you feel like it.
Not every tattoo has to be a deeply personal, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Sometimes you just see something cool and want it on your body, and there's something really wonderful about that.
So throw some ideas my way! I've got some drawing to do. 🖤
