🎉 Today marks 4 years since we opened Artist for a Day! 🎉
On June 10, 2022, we unlocked the doors feeling nervous, excited, and ready for a brand-new adventure. We had no idea just how many wonderful people we would meet or how many memories would be made within these walls.
Over the last four years, we’ve painted, created, celebrated birthdays and family events, hosted classes, and watched countless friends gather around a table to laugh, talk, and make art together. Seeing creativity bring people together has been the most rewarding part of this journey.
I’m beyond grateful for every person who has been part of our story — those who have worked with us, painted at our studio, answered our questions, encouraged us, and supported us along the way. Your kindness and enthusiasm have meant more than you know.
I’m especially thankful that my mom took this leap with me, that my husband has trusted and supported me through every step of this journey, that my kids have been such troopers (helping at the studio, taking classes with me, and now even working here!), and that my sister is by my side during the weekdays.
Being part of this studio and this community is something I never take for granted. Thank you for making Artist for a Day such a special place for the last four years. We’re excited for all the new ideas, classes, and events we’re working on this summer and can’t wait to create even more memories together.
