No art for a while....packed up and moving East for new adventures! The colorizations and old hot rod stuff will be back at some point. Exploring options and living day to day for a short while. And having fun!

Early morning set up at to blow out some inventory. Gotta move these out without the car shows and swap meets happening. Some folks got good deals, and I needed to purge!

Spare parts inventory day. Time to get rid of some of this stuff I’ll never need.

Jim Lindsley tweaking on the Kukura-Lindsley monster blown Hemi at Bonneville in 1958. Jack's roadster first hit the dry lakes in 1947, hitting 97 mph at his first met. After years of flathead racing, Jim helped him drop in a built-up Hemi in 1957. In 1958 he roared thru the traps at 184 mph. They kept tweaking, and in 1960 he hit 200 mph before spinning out, and did not want to make another run. The car was retired and finally auctioned in 2015 for $152,000. Not bad for a car Jack bought for $385 in '47. Photos courtesy of the Lindsley family collection.

A year ago today, waiting in line as the sun comes up with a few hundred of my fellow car lovers. So missing the best show of the year, and it's held 10 mins from the house... there will be a next year.

So...thought it would be a great idea to take a socially distanced walk in the desert, then I run into these guys.
