Tanda was born from a desire to create a cross-cultural project that uses the Argentine tango as a base for physical and emotional well-being, artistic expression, and community interactions. This approach to tango encourages new schools of thought for the tango curious while re-invigorating the tango veteran’s love for the practice through a new lens that pushes for growth and evolution. After years of unforgettable embraces, friendships, music, and countless tandas, the time has come for Tanda to close its doors.

Our final Tanda Milonga will be on September 12.

All classes will continue as scheduled through the first week of September, so there is still time to dance, learn, and enjoy these last weeks together.

We're also planning a few special Open Practice Days for our students, along with Showcase Dance dates and a few more moments to celebrate everything we've built together.

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements, and if Tanda has been part of your journey, we'd love to share this time with you.

This Saturday, Tanda Milonga is transporting you straight to Buenos Aires for one unforgettable night of tango, live singing, performance, celebration and Argentine spirit. ✨

La Previa is that electric moment before the big event—the gathering, the excitement and the anticipation. Before Sunday’s final, we are coming together to celebrate Argentina’s semifinal victory and dance our hearts out! 💙🤍💙⚽️

Our dear friend and amazing dancer Mariela Barufaldi will share the floor with Martín Almirón, who is usually traveling, teaching and performing around the world—and is now here in Miami!

There is always something exciting about seeing two wonderful artists meet for the first time on the dance floor. Each brings their own personality, experience and way of feeling tango—and when they come together, something completely new is born. We cannot wait to see the special performance Mariela and Martín will create for us at La Previa. ✨

Our wonderful local star Doris Cristina will fill the room with beloved Argentine songs, bringing even more emotion, nostalgia and alegría to the night. 🎙️❤️

Together, Mariela, Martín and Doris are joining forces to create a true Buenos Aires experience for all of us—tango dancers and non-dancers alike.

And behind the DJ booth, Alejandro Szenkman will keep the dance floor alive with his best tandas all night long. 🎶🔥
