Happy Birthday to dancer Andreas Cross !

Mr. Cross is a graduate from Elmhurst Ballet School where he completed many years of rigorous training under the directorship of Robert Parker. He is qualified in the Royal Academy of Dance pedagogy method. Mr. Cross won 1st Place at the Sudbury Festival of Performing Arts and 1st Place Solo at the Stars of the Future Dance Competition, both on 2015. In 2024 he danced at the Fonteyn Competition with the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Mr. Cross completed two Summer Intensive Programs with The Royal Ballet School in London and had the privilege to work with renown international choreographers in England.

Since joining Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida he has performed Double Clef, Glinka Suite Fantastique , Dew Drop Prince in The Nutcracker, Capitoni in Dr. Ouch! , Danzón, Shostakovich Suites, and Polovtsian Dances, demonstrating his talent as a great partner.

Happy Birthday to our dancer Leonardo Bares! Our Italian fellow dancer also a pianist and percussionist, a guy full of talents !

Mr. Bares comes from the Carcano Theater in Milan – Italy where he had the opportunity to dance the principal role the ballet Minotaurus. Previous ballet seasons include Dancepartout Ballet Company – Italy, Atlantic City Ballet and the New York Dance Project. Mr. Bares began his serious classical training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, München Ballet-Akademie in Munich – Germany and later he continued his education at Area Dance in Milan – Italy. His repertoire includes Romeo & Juliet, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Carmen, Dracula, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, La Sylphide and Carmina Burana. Mr. Bares is also an avid piano player and a percussionist.
