💔 Cache Valley, We Need Your Help 💔
This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to write, and we want to be real, open, and transparent with our community about where things stand. Sorry this will be such a long post….
Nearly two years ago, we opened Coconut Cove with a dream that went far beyond creating a business. We wanted to create a community space where children could truly be children—a screen-free, flashy-free environment where imagination thrives, friendships are made, and kids can explore, create, and play together.
One of the things we are most proud of is that Coconut Cove has become more than an indoor play center. It has become a home to The Antics comedy group, a space for community comedy and creativity.
We have also provided a home, completely free of charge, for Utah Families Feeding Families, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping families in need. They use our space to organize, serve, and support members of our community who are facing difficult circumstances. We are passionate about helping others and love all that they do to help our community.
Like many small businesses, we've faced challenges, which is expected. This past winter was unusually mild, and what is typically one of our busiest seasons ended up being much slower and continues to be.
At the same time, we found out the main franchise locations closed and we suddenly found ourselves needing to reinvent and rebrand Coconut Cove while continuing to operate day-to-day. We have spent countless hours exploring what the future of Coconut Cove could look like, including new exhibits, attractions, and STEM-focused experiences that would inspire creativity, learning, and hands-on discovery for local children.
Through it all, we continued pushing forward because we believed in what Coconut Cove could become for Cache Valley.
Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads.
The challenges of this last year we’ve been open, combined with a slower-than-normal winter season, have left us struggling to regain momentum. We haven’t been able to bounce back, and unless something changes, Coconut Cove will be forced to close its doors sometime in July.
As a local family-owned business, we put everything on the line to keep this dream alive. We invested everything we had because we believed our community deserved a place where kids could unplug from screens, use their imaginations, build friendships, and simply be kids. We believed Coconut Cove could be a place that gives back and strengthens our community, and we've worked every day to make that vision a reality.
We have fought hard to keep going, but we cannot do it alone.
If Coconut Cove closes, The Antics comedy group will lose their performance and creative home, and the free home we've been able to provide for Utah Families Feeding Families will disappear as well.
For us, saving Coconut Cove isn't just about preserving a business—it's about preserving a place where children can play, families can gather, and community groups and nonprofits can continue serving, creating, and connecting with the people who need it most.
If Coconut Cove has ever been a special place for your family, if your children have made memories here, if you believe Cache Valley deserves a place where kids can learn, explore, and connect through play, or if you'd like to see Coconut Cove continue to grow with new STEM-focused attractions and hands-on learning experiences, we are asking for your help.
We truly believe Coconut Cove's best days can still be ahead of us. With your support, we can continue building a place where children not only play and imagine, but also discover, create, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Many people have asked if there is another way to help. As part of our efforts to reinvent and improve Coconut Cove, we have dreamed of adding new STEM-focused attractions that inspire learning, creativity, and hands-on exploration for local children. Unfortunately, we simply haven't been busy enough to make those investments a reality.
Every visit, every share, every recommendation, and every word of support makes a difference.
We built Coconut Cove because we believed Cache Valley deserved something special—a place where children connect with each other instead of screens, where families create lasting memories, and where a business can also be a force for good in the community.
If Coconut Cove is going to have a next chapter, it will be because of this community.
And if this chapter does come to an end, we want you to know how grateful we are and how much we have enjoyed being a small part of our cache valley community!
It has been an incredible privilege to serve Cache Valley families for nearly two years. We will forever cherish the laughter, birthday parties, friendships, and memories that have filled these walls.
Thank you for every visit, every share, every word of encouragement, and every act of support. We remain hopeful, grateful, and determined to keep fighting for this dream.
❤️ With love and gratitude,
The Coconut Cove Family
