ESPN2 and ESPNU aired five women’s college basketball games Sunday (2/22) as part of the annual Play 4Kay initiative – highlighting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with The V Foundation and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). Sandra Kay Yow, a former North Carolina State University head womens basketball coach, past president and founding member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) became a galvanizing force for the WBCA. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 and passed away on January 24, 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease.

Jones Mobile Television provided a mobile unit for one of those games in Fayetteville, AR today (LSU @ Arkansas). The Razorback mascots pose for a picture inside the production truck wearing pink in honor of Play 4Kay.
