It seems like just yesterday you were 3 years old, stepping into your first pair of tiny dance shoes. Watching you grow from those first tentative steps into the incredible performer you are today has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Your work ethic and passion are inspiring, and nothing beats the rhythm and grace of watching you tap. We are so proud of all of your accomplishments on and off the stage. We will deeply miss the thrill of watching you shine on stage, but we can’t wait to watch your next chapter unfold at the University of Arkansas!

One week from tomorrow is not just any other Saturday. It’s our 38th annual Recital which means it’s our Seniors last time on the DSD stage. We will celebrate them all week and hang on to every last moment we have with them! We can’t wait to cheer you on next weekend!

First up is Elyse ❤️ We love you!

Elyse,
The moment you put on your first tiny pair of dance shoes at four years old, your journey began. We watched little steps become graceful leaps, and little dreams grow into something much bigger than dance itself. Dance has taught you some of life’s greatest lessons. While there were many memorable awards that you received through the years, there were also missed turns, disappointments, long rehearsals, tired feet, tears, and moments when things did not go as planned. Through it all, you showed up, worked hard, built resilience, and made some of the best friendships of your life.

As you take your final bow and begin a new chapter, our wish for you is that you keep taking chances, choosing joy, and finding beauty in the journey. Most of all, we hope you dance, not just on a stage, but through every chapter of your life. We love you and could not be more proud of the extraordinary young woman you have become.
