We had Jackson fever this month at TAP-a-Holic, with every class learning a combo to an MJ or Janet song. Absolute beginner did “Billie Jean “. New absolute beginner tap series and new combo starts this Sunday at 11:30 AM and Tuesday, 5/5 at 6:30 PM.

TAProbics is back! And we’re celebrating 17 years of TAprobics class, what??? and since we don’t know what day tap-a-Holic actually started for Broadway classes, this is the week we celebrate that too, and there are even more years of those. See you on Saturday at 11.

Auditions for the summer musical "Applause" in North Hollywood.

Announcing auditions for Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre's summer musical, APPLAUSE.

This musical is based on the Academy Award-winning film “All About Eve” (starring Betty Davis). The stage version won the 1970 Tony Award for Best Musical (starring Lauren Bacall).
Performance dates:
7/24-8/30
Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm
Audition dates:
1) Tuesday, April 14th 6-8pm at:
Madilyn Clark, 10852 Burbank Blvd North Hollywood (Room C)
2) Wednesday, April 15th 7-9pm at:
Madilyn Clark, 10852 Burbank Blvd North Hollywood (Room D)
3) Saturday, April 18th 11am-2pm at GRT 10900 Burbank Blvd North Hollywood, CA 91601
*Bring sheet music and prepare to sing 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Gerald Sternbach will be playing for the auditions.

Rehearsals will begin right the first week of June and will likely occur on Tues, Wed, Thurs evenings and Saturdays from 10am-2pm at Group Rep in North Hollywood for the first few weeks. As it gets closer to opening, rehearsals will be 5-6 days.

*Dance and reading will take place at the callbacks, so you don't have to prepare either of those for the initial auditions.
