I want to thank all the people who came out to our open studio, we really appreciate it. You kept us running all day and we sold a lot of items! If you couldn't make it here, I will be posting our next month's show schedule soon. Of the next 17 weekends we have 13 shows.....you can surely find us somewhere!

Weekend mornings are my favorite times. Before Sparks I call it. I open the doors, clean off my bench and crank some music, today’s choice is Hollerhead “Tryin to breath’. There’s a table of items that MJ is working on and I have to poke to see if the paint is dry. It is. Argo has been in the pond all morning raising heck. The ducks barged out of their house waddling into the pond for their morning bath and preening and then bustle out quacking all the way to look for bugs and maybe a worm caught out in the morning wetness. The German Shepherd patrolled the yard first thing but had retired to Charlottes side to set up a protective perimeter on her person. MJ is doing her inside chores and will join me soon……. We’ll put on gloves and helmets and the sparks will fly. It’s not a bad way.

We’ve spent the last couple weeks picking hard all over vermont. On the hill in Montpelier we found some sap buckets, a Fairfax barn produced some old tools. Colchester and Milton gave us two bins of smalls. MJ went to the flea market in Chelsea and was allowed in some old barns to nose around and pick some old rusty items. Some people found some stuff for us And dropped off at our shop. Half of our time is spent finding raw parts…… and we enjoy that part!

I have some hand cut plasma items in the yard building up a nice rusty patina. The milk can with a cover is $100, the other one is $75. The tall sunflower is $100. The bigfoot signs (best seller) are $85......the rest are $75. Message me if you want to pick up. If you want one with your name it MAY be possible, depending on your name. LOL ETA: Scotland Sign is sold.

We are taking off 6-7 weeks from shows this summer to take a vacation and spend time in the shop making art for the fall...

We are taking off 6-7 weeks from shows this summer to take a vacation and spend time in the shop making art for the fall shows. (13 more shows this year!) There are still ways for you to get your hands on some of our work though. Both places are fun to visit and have a great group of artists with many unique items.

We will be set up at the Highland Games in Greensboro tomorrow the 13th. I don't like to say this because it might make people come out just to see me, but I have a new green utility kilt I will be breaking out! Don't ask if I will have anything on underneath, that's not a question for polite society. (The only ones who know for sure are my wife and the 200 people in the massed bands last year at the Quechee Highland Games.............it was pretty windy that day.)
