So this Friday is our Journey Dance class at Athena Hall. My customers have asked, "What is Journey Dance?" and "I don't know how to dance"...or, "I have two left feet" Somehow, the word "Dance" seems to intimidate those who never wore a tutu and curtsied after a stellar performance at a dance recital, waltzed with their spouse to Come Away with Me by Norah Jones, or put on their sexiest cut-off sweatshirt and dared to perform to Irene Cara's Flashdance theme song in the comfort of their own room. I personally experienced the infectious energy and enthusiasm of JoJo Keane and I have to say, you can wipe away all of these thoughts and begin with a clean slate of open mind and child like curiosity. Invite your body, mind and spirit to play. Let go and awaken your true self in moves that take you on an incredible journey of self discovery.
