We all know and love the Shure SM57, but not many utilize it’s predecessor, the Unidyne III. This beauty has been restored and given the transformerless modification by yours truly. It has a more open, less focused sound in the midrange as well as beautiful attention to the high end, which sounds crisp and clear without the harshness. I definitely plan on making some beautiful records with these!

🛠 Maintenance time! We all need a little of that sometimes, and our tools do too.

• The Orban 622B is a stereo parametric equalizer primarily used in broadcast studios, however to my ear it can be used for some beautiful musical applications.

• After wiring new balanced cables and deep cleaning the potentiometers with DeoxIT, this beauty is as good as new! Take care of things and they will take care of you. Now that’s a life lesson!
