Meet our instructors! Matt Sowersby is a music educator, freelance guitarist, and singer-songwriter who has been working professionally in music for over 10 years.

Matt completed his master’s degree in Music Education at UMass Lowell in 2016 and teaches K-12 music at the Central Massachusetts Collaborative in Worcester. He also runs a private lesson studio and performs regularly for private events and with his own music.

Matt currently resides in Leominster, MA, with his wife and two cats, Simon and Garfunkel. In addition to music, Matt also enjoys woodworking, outdoor cooking, and gardening.

We are so excited to be adding to the team at Vivo Strings!

Meet the instructors! Leeann will be joining us this spring offering an Early Childhood Music class on Thursday afternoons!

Leeann McMorrow is a board certified music therapist. She has completed training in early childhood music therapy and performs children's concerts and music classes throughout the state. Leeann also works as the children's director at Grace Chapel in Watertown. Her two year old Bridget also enjoys music!

We are expanding! After a long hiatus from social media for the studio, we are back!

Come join us for an Open House on February 11th from 10 am-1 pm to meet our teachers and celebrate the expansion of the studio!

We are adding Early Childhood Music classes as well as Guitar lessons and additional openings for Violin, Viola and Cello lessons.

Many of the performers from our performing group are joining as teachers at Vivo Strings with this expansion!
