As part of Central Kentucky Art Guild Business Exhibits, a collection of my still life oil paintings will be on display at The Cecilian Bank, 1808 N Dixie Hwy (close to Chick-fil-A) in Elizabethtown, KY from June 15 - Sept 21, 2026.

Yesterday was perfect; sunny, low humidity and delightful temperature. Along with myself, several members of the Central Kentucky Art Guild met at The Arboretum next to Prichard Community Center in Elizabethtown, KY. We sketched, painted, chatted and laughed for a couple hours.
If you would enjoy a pleasant walk through a beautiful garden, this is a must stop for anyone in the area.
I managed to do two ink and watercolor sketches. Working on filling up this sketchbook!

I’ve been looking, with a critical eye, at this tiny canvas for several days. I decided it was just too blue. So this morning it’s getting tweaked. Sometimes small changes can make a painting better.
