For the August meeting of Central Kentucky Art Guild I was chosen as Artist of the Month with this little painting ‘Lacey Morning’. It was my first attempt at using Golden Open Acrylics which stay wet longer than regular acrylics.
It will be on display at The Cecilian Bank Oaklawn Branch in Elizabethtown until Sept 21.

It was exciting to receive this notification from Bold Brush Art Contest over the weekend.

Congratulations! Your painting, "Rambling Daisies", was selected as part of the FAV15% (jury's favorite 15% of the entries) in the July 2026 BoldBrush Painting competition.

It was such fun today creating a sketchbook journal in a bookmaking class. Many thanks to Debbye Hassell and Paula Haynes of the Central Kentucky Art Guild for bringing all the supplies and know how.
Now what will I draw/paint in this cute little book????
