North Charleston Arts Fest Join us April 29-May 3, 2026! FREE events in all arts disciplines in venues throughout North Charleston, SC!

The North Charleston Arts Fest is an annual five-day event highlighting artists and performers in the areas of Dance, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, and Literature. The event features an array of performances, exhibits, and activities that take place at a variety of venues within the City of North Charleston.

Went back to pick up my artwork and discovered a second award. The City of North Charleston now owns this artwork. The second ribbon is the Purchase award. I'm grateful to all who gave me such an honor. Thank you.

SC fine craft artists are invited to submit their work for the 2026 South Carolina Palmetto Hands Juried Fine Craft Competition & Exhibition, a component of the 2026 North Charleston Arts Fest! Artists juried into the show will exhibit their work from April 29-May 3 at the Charleston Area Convention Center and compete for cash prizes totaling up to $6,500. We're now accepting entries from sculpture artists across the US for the 2026/27 National Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition, a component of the 2026 North Charleston Arts Fest! Up to 14 pieces will be juried into the 20th annual exhibit. Cash awards have been increased for this year! Exhibition dates are April 29, 2026-March 14, 2027. This year's juror is Mark E. Brown, artist and Chair of the Studio Art and Graphic Design program in the David R. Hayworth School of Arts and Design at High Point University in High Point, NC. Deadline to enter is Feb 25.
