Another insane achievement for our The Improvaneers!!! The Improvaneers have just been selected to perform at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada! This is the largest and most selective comedy festival in the world!!! They'll be the first individuals with Down syndrome to ever appear on the festivals stages. Make no mistake, they will ROCK THIS SHOW and once again, prove to the world their limitless potential.

Join us for engaging classes designed for individuals of all abilities!

Each camp day lasts 2 hours, with a 30 minute showcase on the final day of camp. The program structure and leadership by our Certified Directors provide a fun and supportive environment for all participants!

Experience a preview of our full 10-week program within the 3 day camp model! These camps offer a glimpse into what you can expect from our comprehensive Improvaneer Method programming.

The camp focuses on improvisation basics and uses engaging/collaborative games to help build key life skills such as quick thinking, problem solving and adaptation to change! Games played will include activities such as storytelling, scene work (acting), problem solving, character development and more!

We had SO much fun with our Best Buddies up in Cleveland, OH this past Sunday 🎉

They hosted a 2 hour workshop where CEO Rob Snow, and Improvaneers Henry Snow and Adam Schoen, brought intro/fan favorite improvisation games to the table.

Participants spent the two hours connecting with each other, learning improvisation basics, and playing engaging improvisation games that encourage laughter and support communication skills!

Rob Snow is coming to ImprovCon!

Creator of The Improvaneer Method, Rob uses improv to build communication, confidence, and real-world skills that expand workforce and social opportunities for people with disabilities.

He is also the creator of The Improvaneers, the world’s first all Down syndrome improvisation troupe, and is currently developing a film about their story.

With roots in Chicago improv and a deeply personal connection to the disability community, Rob brings heart, purpose, and the power of play to ImprovCon.

The Improvaneer Method classes are returning to Cincinnati this summer!

We are very excited to continue with our Improv Cincinnati partnership, bringing our ground-breaking method to the Greater Cincinnati area!

Join us this summer to meet Certified Improvaneer Method Directors Kelly Gruber and Emily Elma, and experience our method through these 4 pop-up class opportunities!

Pop-Up Dates:

June: 9th, 23rd

July: 7th, 21st

Price: $28 per class or $100 for all 4 classes!

Hosted at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, these classes provide the opportunity to feel connected to the local art community, while building community amongst class peers from all walks of life. A 10-week session will follow these classes starting in September!

Our programming focus on building key life skills, through improvisation, that will greatly increase our social, workplace and lifetime opportunities!

What skills you ask? Well, some pretty crucial ones that help us in life…

Eye Contact- Voice Projection- Problem Solving. Adaption to Change- Listening- Focus- Quick Thinking- Creative Thinking- Character Development

And let’s throw in a giant dose of SELF CONFIDENCE while we’re at it.

This class creates a safe, fun, learning environment for people with all types of intellectual and developmental disabilities, allies included! 16+

Thank you Engage IL for bringing The Improvaneers out to Chicago, IL this past April! ✨

On Friday, April 11th, Improvaneers Sarah, Henry, Nick, Adam and Audrey took to the Bit Theater stage at Engage IL's fundraiser "Spring into Action!"

Check out the testimony below from Sharon Costabile who led the way in organizing this wonderful night!

"What a weekend for your actors! And it was a wonderful evening for Engage IL raising awareness and amplifying the abilities of all our talented folks as well.

Dr Charlene Bennett, CEO Individual Advocacy Group called me today to say how much she absolutely loved the evening. We talked about community building and that it wasn’t an event with ‘an us & a them’, it was truly a ‘we’. It was true community in action, Rob, and that was my definition of success.

Having the Improvaneers join us was the exclamation point on the evening. They are talented, inspiring, and confident young men and women. They clearly are growing with their craft! Or equally….their craft is helping them grow as human beings."

The Improvaneers! is never just a performance, and that's what makes what we do even more meaningful.

The Improvaneers will take on big cities such as Montreal Canada and San Diego California this summer, and would love to travel to a city near you!
