This week’s live was a little bit of projects, a little bit of shop tour, and a little bit of me realizing my kids may not be following in my fiber-loving footsteps 😂
(And yes, if you hear an occasionally upset 4-year-old in the background, that's just part of the authentic work-from-home/shop-owner-parent experience around here. 😅)
🧥 First up, I shared some progress on my Rowyn Cardigan pattern test, which continues to make me very happy every time I work on it.
I also showed another Tunisian crochet project that will eventually become a class sample later this summer... but I'm keeping the details secret for now 🤫
Speaking of kids...
Apparently my 4-year-old has decided that yarn isn't nearly as interesting as quilting. Every time we walk next door, she wants to go visit the quilt shop instead of hanging out with me in the yarn shop 😂
So this is your reminder that if you haven't visited our neighbors yet, there is a wonderful quilt shop just two doors down from us!
She Shed Quilts
🧦 Then we took a look at the sock display at the front of the shop.
We have:
• Knit sock samples
• Crochet sock samples
• Sock books
• Patterns
• Kits
• Lots of sock yarn
If you've ever wanted to try sock making but didn't know where to start, we've put together a whole section to make it easier to find inspiration.

👜 We also showed off our Atenti bag collection.
Atenti is one of our favorite brands because every bag is handmade and the company is owned by a mother-and-daughter team. They're beautiful, functional, and one of those products that always gets people stopping to look.

⭐ One of the things I'm most excited about right now is our new customer review displays around the shop.
Customers can leave reviews directly on our website, and we're starting to feature those reviews next to products in the store so shoppers can see what other makers thought before they buy.
I highlighted the reviews for our Minnesota Cross Stitch Kits, which continue to be one of our best-selling gift items.

And finally...
🌈 7 Wooly Wonders is coming back!
I talked a little about how the contest works for anyone who wasn't around last year.
Participants receive seven coordinating colors and create a project using all seven. Finished projects are displayed during our anniversary celebration, and the community votes for their favorites.
So far we've only revealed:
✨ The dates
✨ The dyer
But later this week we'll be revealing the color palette and yarn base 👀
Trust me... you're going to want to see this one.
Thanks for hanging out with me during the live, and as always, thank you for supporting our little fiber community. 💛
