With The White Swan, MCYO Philharmonic transformed Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake into an immersive performance experience. Student musicians moved throughout the hall, soloists became characters, and the orchestra became part of the story.

The project challenged young musicians to think beyond traditional performance conventions and embrace new possibilities for musical storytelling.

Sanctuary of Solace is a teen-created multimedia installation exploring safety, belonging, and connection in an increasingly isolating world. 💞

Built by Strathmore and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company’s 2026 Arts and Social Justice Fellows with input from nearly 45 teens, the one-day public event transforms the Mansion Galleries into spaces for reflection, conversation, and community.
