It is our philosophy that anyone at any level can become an artist! Iryna Drozd is the founder of D`Art studio. In 2009 she finished the National University of Water Environmental Engineering in Rivne and got her Master's Degree in Architecture. About four years of her studying she spent working on Visual Art, Art History, Sculpture and Three-Dimensional Composition. She also finished Rivne State

Children`s Art School with honors. At the beginning of her career, she worked as an Architect and Designer in different Art companies in Ukraine. For her projects and artworks, she’s been using her extensive experience and incredible creativity. “Art is not just a part of my profession, it is a part of me", says Iryna. After moving to the USA, she continued her career as an Art Teacher. In 2015 Iryna started to volunteer at Wesley Nursery School as a teacher’s assistant. In 2017 she continued being an art teacher in Russian School Erudite where she founded the Art Club “Akvarelka”, becoming its main manager and instructor. At the same time, she continued working as an Art teacher with preschool grades in Playful Discoveries Daycare, Prostokvashino Daycare, and Lyceum for Kids LLC.
“Many years of volunteering and extensive professional experience made me extremely passionate about children’s art education. It also made me understand how crucial art education is for children’s development, well-being, and self-expression”, says Iryna. In addition to the above experience, she is working with Amazing Fox Entertainment Theatre in Bethesda, MD as a Scenic Designer, creating stage decorations for their amazing productions. Under her leadership the following plays were beautifully decorated: "New Year’s Under the Sea"("Новый Год в подводном царстве", "New Year in Fairytale Forest" ("Новый Год в Сказкалесье"), "Ship of Magic" ("Волшебный корабль"), "Emerald City" ("Изумрудный город"). In this theatre, she also takes responsibility for the SSL hours curator in Scenic Design. Now she is continuing to work in D`Art studio as the main instructor. During the school year, Iryna is trying to make numerous exhibitions with her students' works. A lot of her students won different prizes in various national art contests. In 2018 Iryna received the Art Teacher of the Year award from the International Competition "Planet of Art".

The festival is a month-long celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics that takes place every Fall.
