On this day in 1992, the Twin Peaks Fan Festival began. Events included a fun run starting from Riverview Park, train rides, wine tastings, live music, and sold-out dinner and breakfast events with the actors.

The festival ended on Sunday, August 16th with the U.S. premiere of “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” at North Bend Theatre.

This yellow button from the festival features a movie camera, mountains and a lake, a fine cup of coffee, and a slice of cherry pie.
