Watercolor Workshops North Country resident and artist, Lydia Brown, shares her passion and talents with those who would like to experience the world of Watercolor Painting.

Fun & casual classes bring out the artist in every participant of all ages and experience levels! Lydia Brown, a proud North Country native, has always had a knack for art. Raised amidst the rugged beauty of her hometown, she found joy in the simplest of things—sketching the landscapes that surrounded her, painting the colors of the changing seasons. After earning her Associate degree in computer

arts and graphic design from NCCC, Lydia delved into the world of freelance graphic design, infusing her projects with a blend of creativity and innovation. But it was the unexpected turn of events during the Covid pandemic that led her down a new path. Faced with isolation and uncertainty, Lydia sought solace in her art. What started as casual Zoom painting sessions with friends quickly blossomed into a newfound passion for watercolor painting. With each stroke of her brush, she found healing and release—a therapeutic escape from the chaos of the world. Now, fueled by her own experiences, Lydia is determined to share the joy of art with others. Through in-person watercolor classes for both adults and children, she hopes to ignite a spark of creativity in everyone she meets. With laughter, camaraderie, and a splash of paint, Lydia is on a mission to spread a little brightness in the world, one painting at a time.
