Summer’s still here, friends! This Sunday, 30.August is the final sunset yoga class on the roof of Greylock WORKS! Meet at Greylock Yoga + Movement at 5:30pm and head to the rooftop for beautiful views, fresh air, and a peaceful flow with Ali Tatro to end the weekend 😎. When Skye was little we often read Barbara Cooney’s (born 1917 in Brooklyn) Miss Rumphius (1985), aka the Lupine Lady, a beautifully illustrated story of a woman traveling to new places and cultures, committed to making the world more beautiful. (our readings may have included realtime editing the carved Indian reference) Cooney and her children lived in Massachusetts just 2 hours east of Greylock WORKS.

In looking up the book to relocate the author, a chapbook of feminist prose poetry titled Lupine (2023) appeared: ’s “collection collapses the boundaries between the self and the subjugated other… revealing how our culture has failed women.”

We welcome all forms of lupine regeneration and resilience in Greylock WORKS’ blossoming and re-wilding ecologies.
