Eckert Fine Art Jane Coats Eckert has roots in 19th and early 20th century American artists. Eckert Fine Art is located in North Adams, MA on the campus of Mass MoCA. Gerdts.

In recent years, the gallery has placed important artworks with museums and collectors. Featured artists include Eric Forstmann, Bin Feng, and Chizuru Morii Kaplan, along with 19th through 21st century American Masters such as Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, Jim Dine, Alexander Calder, and Andrew Wyeth. In 1996, Jane Eckert opened a gallery in Naples, Florida featuring th

e finest of Modern and Contemporary art. Important shows were mounted on Robert Rauschenberg “Beamer Paintings and the BMW Art Car,” Christo and Jeanne-Claude “Gates” and “Over the River,” and Pierre-August Renoir, “Art and Archives”. Jane has lectured on art and has published books including The Hoosier Group, 5 American Painters by Judith Newton and Dr. William H. She has also curated shows for The Evansville Museum of Art, The Butler Institute of American Art and The Naples Philharmonic Museum of Art. She has served as Secretary of the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) and is currently Chair of the Director’s Advisory Committee at Mass MoCA. She is also on the Advisory Committee of the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council.
