Dear Friends of BAAMS,
At this time of year, as we ready ourselves for another year of after-school music lessons and Saturday ensemble classes, we are asking for your support. If you have not made a donation recently, please consider a gift or a business sponsorship. To find out how to give, please go to this page link on our web site with additional information. You may make a simple online donation via your card, or mail a check, or sign up to be a monthly sponsor that truly makes a difference to BAAMS, but won't break your budget. Please also let us know about your charitable foundation to which we may apply for support.
Some of the benefits of learning at BAAMS:
- being mentored by Master Musicians and Master Music Educators
- learning about music theory
- gaining ear and rhythm training
- understanding how to compose new music
- becoming skilled at the art of improvisation
- cooperating with classmates and faculty, and respecting oneself as a musical artist
- having a means to express their own unique perspectives and emotions through music
- making lifelong friends
- feeling confident and believing in one's ability to try new things and gain mastery over them
- developing internal standards of excellence
- and developing a lifelong love of practicing, learning, playing, and sharing music!
As you know, it takes the same amount of money to run a business whether it is for profit or tax-free. BAAMS still pays all of the same bills, rent, utilities, insurances, security system, internet, printing, mailing, office supplies, cleaning supplies, professional services, equipment and software for students to be able to access during learning time, have the same payroll taxes and other obligations, and in order to make attending BAAMS possible for the average family, make every effort to keep our tuition affordable.
The wide range of support we receive from this community helps to make our learning opportunities at BAAMS available to all motivated young musicians, and all, regardless of their level of experience, are able to make progress.
