Some exciting news about Theatre Horizon's future...

This fall, Amina Robinson will become Theatre Horizon's next Artistic Director!

Amina directed our acclaimed production of THE COLOR PURPLE and most recently returned to Theatre Horizon to direct AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', bringing incredible joy, energy, and unforgettable artistry to our stage. She understands that great theatre is about more than what happens on stage. It's about the relationships we build, the artists we support, the students we inspire, and the communities we serve.

For more than twenty years, Theatre Horizon has been shaped by people who believe in the power of theatre to transform lives and strengthen communities. Today, that story continues with a remarkable new artistic leader.

Happy Closing to AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'!

We had the honor of welcoming Fats Waller's family to the final Saturday evening performance. Sharing the legacy of his music with the people who carry it forward was unforgettable!

Our cast and family photo recreated a photo from May 21, 1979, which was declared "Fats Waller Day" in Philadelphia. Thanks to Fats Waller's family for sharing this historical image with us.
