So. I realized that I never wrote on my page when our family decided to up and move to Scotland for my partner, Erin, to go back to school...again. She now has a masters of law in human rights(totally awesome I know). And we are back in Tennessee. I’ve been toying with, “what’s next for me”. I am going to work back into clay, but going to mix it up from my last interest in wood and soda fired pots. I am going to hopefully be working my interests of politics, the constitution, and words onto my pots. Will they be for everyone...or anyone? I don’t know. But I’m looking into learning how to make silk screens and more. We’ll see the timing for new pots with a purpose. But my new Skutt kiln delivered this afternoon is a step in the right direction. Three freshly thrown egg, rock closed things...? But I think I like this shape. They should look pretty cool put in the kiln with nothing in them and letting the ash and soda do their thing. Hope y'all are having a fine start to your week. Peace.

Holding up the mug as I do with every mug before this one to finish off the handle. Wondering how many mugs I've held up after pulling its very own handle with great care. I still love "the mug" l. It's a personal pot made just for the right hand and user. Life is our own to make the most of, to be at peace with oneself and hopefully help those around us and help our earth. Peace.

In class today I demo'd a lid. Ana thought the pot didn't look like a "york pot". So Tina figured we should cut it in half, so she did that... perfectly, and made two identical splits. Thought it was cool. Hope your all Wednesday is going really fine. Peace.

A "Russian" as Erin calls them. Many have bought these for their guest bed rooms. A chaplain at a hospital bought one for visits with hospital patients. And so on. Hope y'all are having a real fine day. I'll be in my studio almost all day. Peace.

Hello. I really just wanted to make a shout out to my friends, family, supporters of my pottery, and my clay community. Working on a bunch of crocks, usually used for spatulas, spoons etc. thanksgiving next week and we will be making the journey to Connecticut. Will be a really nice get away. Peace

Old pegboard down. Holes filled. Painting going on. Thanks Fern and baylan. My York pottery studio should be looking better than ever in a couple of days. New pots will be up in the gallery area, and I'll be starting a new making cycle. Peace
