This 5-piece band, led by YouTube favorite Zack Grooves 440K+ subscribers, blends jazz, funk, gospel, and full-send improvisation into shows that feel more like a party with friends than a concert. Hundreds of millions of views and streams don't lie. 👀

We are excited to share our mission and speak with the amazing members of the Norman Rotary Club, this Thursday at noon!

Thursday at Rotary we hear from Eric Walschap and the Oklahoma House of Music. Their mission is to develop the Oklahoma music scene by bringing amazing musicians to Oklahoma and lifting up Oklahoman musicians themselves. Join us Thursday to hear their story—it's sure to strike a chord!

An incredible lineup featuring 5 Grammy winners, Mike Stern (Miles Davis, Blood Sweat and Tears), Summer Camargo (SNL's current trumpet player), Jimmy Haslip (23x Grammy Nominated bassist of the Yellowjackets), Mark Lettieri (guitarist for Snarky Puppy and Dave Chappelle), Bob Franchescini (saxophonist for Celine Dion, Victor Wooten, and Tower of Power), Chris Bullock (saxophonist for Snarky Puppy, Phish, and Soulive), and festival headliner Vincen Garcia, the bass phenom from Spain, plus so many more!

Terell Stafford was a truly special guest; over half a dozen events capped by a performance with both OU Jazz ensembles, this true educator was a true positive "fork in the road" guest for students from 9th grade through graduate school and beyond, literally changing perspectives, career paths, and exponentially increasing the love of music and jazz to so many that heard him speak. Many more photos of his events coming, but these stunning photos taken by HōM's own (on IG) captured his special connection with just some of the students he connected with.
We will forever be grateful to a man whose heart is as big as his legendary playing and teaching prowess!

Congratulations to the NHS Jazz Band! It's been a joy bringing jazz musicians like Adam Neely, Terell Stafford, and David Cook. We hope we have played a part in guiding and inspiring the music students of Norman Public Schools. Congrats to Matt Chandler and Norman High School!
