We will be at the Red Dirt Film Festival this Saturday for a screening of Faces of the 47th: The Art of Activism at the Cimarron Inn at 11am. We are honored that the film has been nominated for Best Feature Documentary and that Cacky has been nominated for Best Director of a Feature Documentary. We’d love to see you there and keep the conversation going!

ONE NIGHT ONLY - Faces of the 47th is TODAY at 7:00 pm!

In 2018, Oklahoma was ranked 47th nationally in overall education funding. After the massive teacher walkout that shut down schools for two weeks, Sarah Agee decided that the lack of adequate funding for public schools was unacceptable and became an activist through art.

Sarah organized a historic statewide art installation of 47 public school children portraits to encourage citizens and politicians to vote pro-education.

This screening is free to teachers and members. 👩🏻‍🏫 . .

NOW SHOWING this week at Rodeo Cinema is ‘COLOR OUT OF SPACE’! We’re also showing 'CUNNINGHAM'!

Don’t forget we have some special screenings this week! On Sunday, Jan 26th we have Anthony Michael Hall live and in-person for a 3:30pm screening of 'Sixteen Candles' and at 7:30pm a showing of 'The Breakfast Club'! After each screening, Anthony Michael Hall with do a Q&A and signings!

Also, on Tuesday, Jan 28th at 7:00pm we have a special screening of 'FACES OF THE 47TH: THE ART OF ACTIVISM' including a Q&A with director Cacky Poarch! Teachers and Rodeo Cinema Members are FREE!
