Hello team! For those that I haven't met yet I am Mr. Pipkin!

I have been coaching speech and debate for 10 years. I started my teaching career at my alma mater Choctaw High School were I ran the debate program, helped coach competing acting, and directed the drama 1 one act plays each semester. Most recently I've been the coach at Norman High where we just wrapped our season at the NSDA national tournament.

Some personal information about me is I have been married to my wife for 8 years and we have two very rambunctious little ones.

I can't wait to get started this fall!

Districts 2022. Norman North absolutely crushed it. This weekend our speech and debate team competed at the NSDA West OK national qualifier. We got to close out finals in Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum, finaled and qualified two extempers, one in International and one in US as well as the first alternate, we got Debate Sweeps (the three-peat feels pretty good, not gonna lie), and our Debate President Audrey Zhou was named NSDA West OK Student of the Year. We’re bringing 8 kids to Louisville and got lots of shiny things!

Congress is in the books! Yesterday the Twolves went to compete to qualify to Nationals in the House and the Senate. Norman North walked away with 2 national qualifiers, and 5 alternates! We also got to compete in person and debate incredible pieces of legislation. Our next stop is main districts in March, then Louisville!💚🐺🏆
