The festival is two days away! I’d like to give a HUGE thank you to all of the folks who make it happen. The committee, the vendors, the donors, everyone! Endless hours spent cooking and baking, cleaning, repairing, and setting up.
We wouldn’t have a festival if it weren’t for all of the volunteer hours and donations! ♥️🎃

Okay y'all, let's chat vendors again! I am confident that this may be a record breaking year for the amount of vendors we will have! We have 27 vendors + Raffle booth + Houston T shirt booth + Kids activity booth! You guys! I cannot wait for y'all to get to shop with our vendors.

🎃 10-11-25 festival schedule:

🍂 9am- festival open, breakfast available
🚜 10am-tractors leave for their drive
🇺🇸 2pm-veterans program
🎟️ 4pm…or so….close of the festival & raffle winners announced shortly after
🎶 music all day
🥣 Kitchen open with yummy food all day
🥧 bake sale while supplies lasts

Disregard our earlier post about this road closure. It has been postponed!

‼️SCHEDULE CHANGE: S.R. 135 is now scheduled to close just south of S.R. 58 in Freetown on or after Monday, October 6. More here: https://bit.ly/4o0TBTP

On or after Wednesday, October 1, crews will close S.R. 135 just south of S.R. 58 to complete a slide correction project in Freetown. S.R. 135 is expected to reopen in early November, weather permitting. The detour follows S.R. 58 to S.R. 258 to S.R. 11 to U.S. 50 to S.R. 135.

Yall we are so close to the festival! Dunno about you but thinking about the food has my belly growling already!

Some menu items include:

pork sandwich, pulled pork nachos, chili, beans, veggie soup, hot dog & more

I can already imagine the crackle of the fire, the “HOT BEANS HOT BEANS”, and the creaking of footsteps on the floor.

Just a heads up for festival attendees!

Happy first day of fall 🍂 🎃

We are 19 days away from the festival 😍

If you’ve been to the festival before, what’s your favorite thing?
Mine would have to be starting the day way before daylight and watching the whole thing come to life as the day gets started. Everything from the sound of footsteps on the schoolhouse floor, the smell of campfire from the beans cookings, to the hustle and bustle of vendors getting set up.

We have had so many NEW vendor forms come in! I am so excited not only to have our returning vendors, but to also celebrate the festival with new vendors. Hope y'all are ready to shop! Our vendors will have the following: Color street nails, crocheted items, Window Nation, Freezer Beef orders, handmade knives, barn quilts, handcrafted baskets, tumblers & cups, bows, candles, handmade cards, dog treats, goat milk products, handmade crafts, antiques, workout clothing, spa items, blind date with a book bar, custom shirts and sweatshirts, hand sewn items, and SO MUCH MORE.
