Hey, Folk Friends! We’re so grateful for your support of our Red Dirt Folk Salon concert series. The beautiful community we found with you in our cottage in Norman, OK sustained us, entertained us, and brought us friendships we’ll continue to cherish. While we’re currently embarking on other adventures and we aren’t hosting house concerts right now, please stick around- RDF may re-appear in other places and formats, and we’ll use this page to support the efforts of other musicians & hosts.

Friends, Red Dirt Folk Salon is on haitus this fall while Tim & Alissa focus on other creative projects and Tim’s European music tour. You can find us tearing each other apart as King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine in the biting comedy The Lion in Winter at Oklahoma Shakespeare October 9-19. And, you can support local music in Norman this fall by attending concerts at The Alley Way listening room (hosted by our friend Gordon McKinney), The Depot Concert Series, and The Blue Door in OKC. Hey, friends! Tim Grimm’s beautiful new album will be available starting April 4th, which happens to be my birthday. The only gift I want this year is your presence at one of his 3 spring album release concerts- the Oklahoma concert is at The Blue Door OKC on Saturday, April 12th, with special guests Sergio Webb and Peggy Johnson. Red Dirt Folk Salon has the opportunity to host a special weeknight concert on Wednesday, March 12th! Tim Grimm has known Tommy O’Sullivan for a dozen years, through his yearly trips to Ireland. Tommy, in addition to being a renowned musician/singer, owns the Courthouse Pub in Di**le, where he hosts many of Ireland’s most remarkable musicians. Come enjoy some cozy mid-week music & mingling!
