FACULTY SPOTLIGHT! ✨
Welcome to our team Vivian !!

Vivian Cunningham is a dancer from Madison, Wisconsin who is currently getting her BFA in Modern Dance Performance at The University of Oklahoma. Prior to this she trained at Artistic Edge Dance Centre and Madison Professional Dance Center. She has been dancing since 2010, rigorously training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, hiphop, pointe, musical theater, improvisation, partnering, and ballroom. She has been accepted into intensive opportunities including Camp Protege and Chicago Reperatory Ballet, and has attended Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s Adult Intensive along with SALT Dance Intensive. She has also performed works from choreographers such as Glenn Edgerton, Austin Hartel, Christa Smutek Megan Sennett, Molly Long, Brian Rebenda, Chase Hudson, Chris Xayrath, Amanda Colangelo, Alma Borges, Lilian Wilner, and Cezar Salinas. Along with training, she has enjoyed demonstrating and teaching over the years.

We are excited to have Vivian teaching Jazz IV this year and can’t wait to see all the progress her students will make this year!

Faculty Spotlight! ✨
We are so glad to welcome back Danielle!

Danielle Bush is from Houston, Texas. She trained at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA), graduating in 2024. Danielle spent this summer training at the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive, where she performed a featured role in a contemporary work by Brice Mousset. She is currently a junior Modern Dance major at the University of Oklahoma, where she continues her training and studies on scholarship. This is Ms. Dani’s 2nd year teaching modern at NSB!

Faculty Spotlight ✨
Welcome our new hip-hop instructor, Chase Bloomer!!

Chase Bloomer is a self taught dancer and choreographer based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has danced with RACE Dance Collective, Generation Why, Legendz, O’City Crew for the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team, and a variety of other projects. Chase’s choreographic work is hip hop based with a dash of other styles sprinkled in. As an instructor Chase’s message for others is “Dance to express, not to impress”.

We can’t wait to see all the fun our dancers are going to have this year in his class! 🪩

We are happy to introduce Hannah Kate!

Hannah Kate Hodges is attending the University of Oklahoma, with a major in Business Management, in hopes to own her own dance studio one day! She danced at Classical Ballet Academy since she was three years old, with training in ballet, pointe, modern/contemporary, tap, lyrical, and jazz. She has performed in Don Quixote, Raymonda, Sleeping Beauty, Graduation Ball, Coppelia, and Swan Lake. She joined the faculty at Norman School of Ballet January of 2026 and loves it!!

Faculty Spotlight ✨
We are excited to introduce one of our new teachers this season, Tabitha Tabor!

-Tabitha Tabor is originally from Colorado, where she started taking ballet and tap at the Thornton Rec Center at the age of 3. The following year, her family moved to Oklahoma and she continued dancing at the Purcell Dance Center and Modern Dance Arts. In 2020 she came to Norman School of Ballet for additional ballet training and competition experience. The following year, she was accepted into Oklahoma City Ballet’s pre-professional day program under the direction of Rachael Nye. There, she danced for three seasons performing alongside the company in The Nutcracker and Cinderella. In 2024, she joined Ballet North Texas as a trainee for two seasons, under the direction of Nicolina Lawson. While there, she performed in various classical and contemporary works such as The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Midsummer’s Night Dream, and Cinderella, as well as, Sam Jones’ Changling and Carrie-Ruth’s Sleepy Hollow. She is very excited to join the faculty at NSB for the 2026-2027 season!
