✨ Introducing Custom Breast Milk Soap ✨

Turn your stored breast milk into a gentle, meaningful keepsake your family can actually use.

For $135, you’ll receive:

- 8 full-size bars of soap
- 6 organza bags filled with soap shavings for bath time
- All made using your own breast milk

Each soap bar normally retails for $12, making the eight bars alone a $90 value - plus six bath sachets and the custom preparation of your milk.

We request 16 oz. of breast milk. If you don’t have quite 16oz, that’s no problem, we can supplement it with fresh goat milk from Lavender Hollow Homestead.

Breast milk must be:

• Frozen
• Sealed in breast milk storage bags
• Clearly labeled with your name

Pickup and delivery are available within the Peoria area for an additional fee.

A beautiful way to transform your milk into something special for you and your little one. 💜

Molting season has my drake looking ROUGH!

I have collected a lot of beautiful feathers from him though.

What do you make from feathers? What should I make from his feathers?? Thinking some earrings….

Absolutely everything about this. 💜 how are we doing surviving this latest heat wave?

Absolutely everything about this. 💜 how are we doing surviving this latest heat wave?

The internet tells you that people in sundresses are out collecting eggs from their chicken coops with chandeliers hanging above them, and HOLY TITS… that is fake. 😂
Absolutely no one is out here living like that off camera.
Or maybe they are and I'm just a hot mess.
People romanticize homesteading, and I'll admit it… maybe I've done it a time or two on my page.
Because there ARE beautiful parts.
There really, really are.
But don't stop reading here because trust me…
It's so worth it.
But hot damn, is it WORK.
JUST THIS WEEK:
• I spent $800 on horse feed, all for it to be accidentally dumped because the bag broke.
• I chased horses around the pasture without a bra (because I had to take it off to use it as a halter, because I forgot the halter’s at the barn 🤣) on because I was trying to get them caught before it hit 100 degrees. I slipped in the mud, cussed at the horses, and eventually had my son catch them for me because he is better at this than I am. He’s two. 😂
• I fixed fence because the goats decided the fence was merely a suggestion.
• I've preserved over 180 jars of food for the winter because my garden is OVERFLOWING. Like, overwhelmingly overflowing.
• I chopped wood for the stove so we have heat this winter. So. Much. Damn. Wood.
And that's just ONE WEEK.
There are dirty hands, broken fences, animal s**t, expensive feed bills, sore backs, sweat, mud, exhaustion, early mornings, late nights, and approximately 47 moments a week where I wonder why I chose this life.
This isn't a lifestyle where you just wander around barefoot in a linen dress picking tomatoes for a pretty Instagram picture.
But it should be romanticized somewhere, but let’s get it right:
There is something incredibly beautiful about this life.
There is something about knowing where your food came from.
About filling your pantry with food you grew and preserved yourself.
About your kids growing up knowing how to work, care for animals, get dirty, grow food, and contribute.
About looking at a freezer full of meat, a pantry full of jars, a stack of firewood, and knowing…
We did that.
I'll show you the pretty parts.
I'll show you the gardens and the jars and the animals and the homemade bread.
But I'll also tell you when I'm standing in a pasture with no bra on, covered in mud, screaming at a goat.
Because that's homesteading too.

All I can say is… WOW! 🤯

In the last 5 months we have:
- grown to 250 followers on Facebook
- sold out all our 2026 chickens
- consistently sold out of all our eggs (to the point we sometimes had to ration ourselves haha)
- gained NPIP certification
- received so much support we are confident enough to sell our wares at our first market, the Manito Popcorn Festival

We couldn’t do this without the support of every single one of you. Sincerely- THANK YOU!!!!! 💜💜💜

Important Update from Lavender Hollow Homestead🥚💜

As our flock (and our customer list!) has grown, we've been taking a hard look at how to make our egg delivery program more sustainable for the long term. Between rising feed costs, fuel costs, and the time required to make multiple delivery runs each week, we've realized it's time to make a few adjustments.

**Beginning September 1, here's what changes you can expect to our egg delivery program**

🥚 Delivery Schedule

* Deliveries will move to **every other week** instead of weekly.

We have reached out to all current customers to arrange quantity and date adjustments.

💲 Updated Pricing

**Chicken eggs**

* Half dozen: $2.50

* Dozen: $5

* 18-count: $7

**Duck eggs**

* Half dozen: $4

* Dozen: $7

🚗Delivery Fees

* Regular semi-monthly delivery within service area: $2 per delivery
* One-time deliveries within our service area: $5 per delivery

Every carton purchased helps support our little homestead, our animals, and what we're building here. These changes will help us continue providing fresh, local eggs while keeping our delivery service sustainable for the foreseeable future. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding- it truly means the world to us.

We will post an updated menu soon on this page and our website lavenderhollowhomestead.com
