*Up to 12 comics will take the stage next Wednesday with their best 7 minutes. Here's a few of those comics. 👇🤘
Elandra Johnson is a small town girl living in a lonely world. She was raised in lil Ashland, Nebraska and moved to Omaha in her early twenties. She always felt like a big fish in a small pond so she searched for larger waters. After a year and a half into the stand up journey, putting foot to pavement and microphone to mouth, (she thinks) she is ready for the big leagues. Or… a league of her own?
Terrance Gawith is a standup comedian based out of Omaha, Nebraska. As a kid, he always wanted to make people laugh, but he didn't get the nerve to hit the stage until 2013. He Is a military veteran who never took himself too seriously, which is why he was a terrible troop.
Starting in DC, Terrance performed nightly at various dive bars until he worked himself into spots at the DC Comedy Loft, DC Improv, and eventually the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City. He performed in various venues in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New York, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia, until he made his way to the Midwest where he's currently making a small name for himself in Kansas, Missouri, lowa, and Colorado. Terrance has always remained tied to his white trash roots because you can't really leave the trailer, even if you leave the trailer. He's a family man that has an odd way with words, His style will have you laughing at the absurd while thinking to yourself | just laugh at that?
Joshua D. Prenosil Therapy didn’t work for Josh Prenosil, so he started doing comedy. He got a big ol’ vocabulary and nowhere to put it except right in your ear hole, after drinking all the coffee and busting in your mom. He’s a sweetie, but you wouldn’t know it from the way he talks, which is filthaaaay. His jokes about dating, teaching, and cultural dialectics have amused audiences from the near west side of Omaha all the way to the east side of Omaha. This man has earned over $178 in his one year of standup (not including the cost of parking), and he’ll take you to the Sizzler on that paycheck, girl. He’s a buffet man for life, a raconteur and a mess, and he feels incredible gratitude that he gets to make people laugh.
Austin Deloske is a comedian based out of Omaha, NE that has performed all over the Midwest. His raunchy but smart one-liners and self-deprecating observations will make you love how much he hates himself, and his anecdotes about his life will make it obvious why he's such a big fan of Midwest-Emo music. His black and blue comedy made him the last winner of the Omaha Funny Bone Clash of the Comics, giving him the opportunity to perform with comedians such as Dave Attell, Steven Lolli, Claire Sundbye and Zach Peterson.
