Heartland Comedy Cup on June 3 at District Event Center , at 7:30 Show Time / Doors open at 7pm. All the judges last night volunteered their time to help us out and we're extremely grateful to comedians Bear Love, Josh Day & Chip Chantry.👀 I know you're probably thinking....🤔 those names sound made up...🤨 Or a Canadian news team... Welcome to CBN-TV your # 1 source for stuff you already found out about two days ago on Facebook or Google. We got Bear covering sports but FYI we're looking for a replacement... Bear only covers Highschool Baseball, Soccer and Track. Then the rest of the school year he hibernates.😴 Covering the weather, vibes and coffee pot, meteorologist Josh Day. 😏 Breaking NEWS: A local tire shop is apparently trying to change the tire business by offering discount Tires. Bear Love comic from Colorado runs the ultra popular Facebook groups Comedy Cartel and Stand up Comedy USA

The comics who came up to compete last night 😯.. Talk about a stacked line up, Ben Webber, Tyler Chappelear, Joshua D. Prenosil, Heather Jones, Patricia Fanciullo, Stephanie Hillier, Dukes Migs, Noe Ramirez, Reilly Cook, Dan Rathmann , Dannie Tee pulled away with the win but all the comics had that room rolling. Special thanks to Andrew McCarthy, owner and operator of District Event Center, for taking a chance on a couple young comics.

May 6th is the next Heartland Comedy Cup Qualifier at District Event Center at 7:30pm. Up to 12 comics will compete, doing their best 7 minutes in hopes of being voted on to the Championship by a panel of 3 judges and the Audience gets a say as well. We currently got (5) spots open to any comics.🎤 No submission fees and free to attend. Win a qualifier and you're in the running for the Championship and $10,000!

Now your Heartland Comedy Cup Qualifier #2 Comics:

Carter Hites, from Omaha, NE Carter Hites. With three years of stand-up under his belt and a sociology degree he hasn’t found much use for, Carter weaves dry observational humor with oddball personal stories. His laid-back delivery hides punchlines you won’t see coming — until it’s too late.

Reilly Cook, Omaha, Ne based standup comedian performing since early 2023. He uses his dry humor and sharp writing to deliver hard hitting jokes about his plans to fix the world, and his glorious life as a career fry cook.

Joshua D. Prenosil, Czech man who plied his trade in the classroom for years before getting on stage. He has performed dozens of minutes over the last year and loves comedy and loves you, too.

Tyler Chappelear, Omaha, Ne comedian. Tyler hit the ground running in the Omaha scene less than a year ago. Don't let his clean looking choir boy physique fool ya, he will either leave you on the edge of your seat, laughing your ass off; or contemplating what childhood trauma really is!

Meet a few of your Heartland Comedy Cup comics who will be competing in the 2nd Qualifier on April 1, 7:30pm at the District Event Center in Norfolk Ne. 12 comics will compete to see who qualifies for the Heartland Comedy Cup Championship and a shot at $10,000. Free to attend and audience gets a say in who wins. If you're a comic and want to compete, just DM Justin Stephens or Carl Muller-Clem Jameson. No submission fees!

Ben Weber from Lincoln, Nebraska. Ben has opened for Laugh Legends such as Sam Tallent, Amy Silverberg, Andy Woodhull, and Daniel Van Kirk. He has been featured on Maha Music Festival, Omaha Comedy Fest, and has won the Omaha Funny Bone’s Clash of the Comics!

Noe Ramirez from Omaha, Nebraska. He has performed all over the country making folks laugh with silly observations and unusual interpretations of how the world is happening to him. Noe has opened for some of the best comedians working today, including Dave Attell, Kyle Kinane, Zach Peterson and Dan Soder.

Dannie Tee from Des Moines, Iowa. Dannie brings serious laughter to audiences with his “coma” style delivery. His unique performances have been recognized over the years, and he was once crowned the funniest person in Iowa. He’s a regular at comedy clubs, venues and theaters around the country. Dannie T. uses his twenty years of experience to create a REAL honest unforgettable show you don’t want to miss.

Dan Rathmann from St. Joseph, Missouri is a nationally touring stand-up comedian known for his razor-sharp wit, off-the-cuff humor, and no-holds-barred comedy style. A 3-time Best Comedian Award Nominee and Global Recognition Award Winner, Dan delivers raw, unfiltered energy every time he hits the stage—whether it’s a comedy club, festival, or cruise ship.
