He survived an atomic bomb… then survived another one just three days later. 😳
On August 6, 1945, 29-year-old engineer Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip when the first atomic bomb exploded.
He was about 3 kilometers from the blast.
He suffered severe burns and injuries—but somehow, he survived.
Yamaguchi returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, still recovering from his injuries.
Then, just three days later, while he was at work describing what he had witnessed in Hiroshima…
💥 Another atomic bomb exploded over Nagasaki.
And unbelievably…
He survived again.
Yamaguchi was later officially recognized by Japan as a survivor of both atomic bombings.
He lived to the age of 93 and spent his later years speaking publicly about his experiences and advocating against nuclear weapons.
Two cities.
Two atomic bombings.
Three days apart.
One survivor who lived through both.
Can you imagine surviving something once… only to experience it again three days later?
What do you think—luck, fate, or something else? 👇
