The secret’s out! For the last 3 years, I’ve produced paintings, drawings and serigraphs that I have guarded until the moment felt right. I’m excited to exhibit the first of these works on paper at Goggleworks Center for the Arts !

𝑹𝒆-𝑰𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 is a partnership between Creature Conserve and Goggleworks. The exhibition runs through July 26 and I hope you can check it out!

The show reconsiders the role of artists in wildlife conservation and explores the possibilities of art informed by science. 𝑹𝒆-𝑰𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 features works by 36 visual artists and 13 writers, all from 11 countries.

What’s one of my most frequently asked questions? “Where can we see your work in person?”

I’m delighted to announce that you can view 3 of my favorite sculptures at the Norfolk International Airport until May 3! In collaboration with and , I am honored to be a part of this exhibition. Whether you’re flying out of Norfolk or just want to park in short-term parking to see the art, I hope you’ll visit the pieces in the Main Lobby (before security.) It has been a long-term goal of mine to show works in my hometown airport and I am incredibly honored to present these Macrosculptues!

Sculpting a 10’ Humpback Whale flipper with pure willpower… and a STIHL chainsaw!

I glued and bolted three 10’ western red cedar beams to create this flipper. Right now, the piece weighs approximately 700 lbs! Next, I will use extra coarse rasps used for filing horse hooves to shape the sculpture. Progress is slow, and the work is extremely physical. That said, this is turning out to be one of my best sculptures yet!

In a few months, I’ll show brand new work in the most significant exhibition of my career so far. I’m pushing my artistic and physical limits like never before and creating monumental sculptures. These pieces feel deeply personal.

Pictured here is a Humpback Whale pectoral fin (flipper) that is over 5’ tall. My next sculpture is 10’ tall and weighs close to 1000 lbs. Thankfully, the sculptures get lighter with each passing day!

The smell of the Western Red Cedar chips is reminiscent of Irish “turf”— smokey peat moss. I’m definitely enjoying the journey!

Postcards from Key West! 🌅 🏝️

1) Enjoying my showroom at . I’ve created an entire new body of work and the blank walls are almost entirely filled with art!

2 + 3) The art and the inspiration. 11” x 14” acrylic on arches. This image/painting is set along the bridge that connects Stock Island with Key West. I love seeing the snagged lures sway in the wind on my daily bike rides and had to paint it!

4) One of many side quests- personal training at my fav gym ! I love fitness and helping people live a happier and healthier lifestyle. I also met an amazing new group of friends/fam.

5) Documented my first Stone Crab feast with the only way I know: art!

6 + 7) Deeply inspired by this church scene from the rooftop of my studio.

8) ✅ Florida man: activated

Key West isn’t a place, it’s a new way of seeing things. This community and culture have inspired my work as much as the flora and fauna. I can’t wait to share what I’ve been creating at ! We are just getting started and I am painting a new series of works on paper! I was not expecting to be completely blown away by the daytime/nighttime skies of the Keys and my new work focuses on this perspective. Sending everyone New Years cheer and a warm salty breeze from my southernmost studio! 🌞 🌊 💨

𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

Originally, I pursued realism as a means of gauging my technical drawing, painting and sculpting skills. When placing my work around live animals for self-critiques, I was quickly humbled by how far off my colors and proportions were. As my technical skills improved, I quickly saw how “soulless” my early work was. I had focused on copying nature, not understanding it.

As my art career has grown, I’ve matured from chasing nature’s “what” to nature’s “why.” I see the “what” with my eyes, and the “why” with my soul. The “why” leads me to bird nests, hatching butterflies, storm fronts and so many other soulful experiences.

10 years! Thanks to your support and encouragement, January 2026 marks 10 years of pursuing art full-time!

In the past decade, I’ve built and moved studios. I’ve caught tools on fire, and caught myself on fire twice (I’m fine.) I’ve shipped art to every continent except Antarctica (still hopeful.) I’ve met world leaders and unsung heroes. I’ve witnessed art healing other people and myself. This whole journey has been a trial-and-error experience. I’ve made many mistakes but learned even more lessons. I’m most grateful that art positions me in spaces (in-person and through social media) where I regularly meet compassionate, creative and humble people.

To finish out 2025, I’ll share some flashbacks from the last 10 years. I’ll also answer any questions you may have! Let’s see what ya got.
