W.O.W! What a word to kick off “Word of the day Wednesday” 👏🏾
In times where we are looking for insight on a situation or circumstance the first place our hearts should take residency is in a position of Reverence(repsect) to God and what he already declares within his word. To walk out and follow the Lords decree enables us to turn away from evil which is one of the first steps in gaining clarity and understanding!
I encourage us all to dive deeper into the Word of God, so that we may draw closer to Him and be covered in His wisdom👏🏾

What’s good E.I family! It’s time for Messenger Monday! And the message for today is “Do not be afraid”.
As we all know that call to action is easier said than done, but through this verse we are reminded that the God we serve is one who will never leave us nor forsake us, and in times where we are uncertain about what the future holds we can rest assured knowing that God has already made preparations for us before we even arrive!

Isn’t it such an encouragement when we are reminded through this verse that as we reside in and walk with Christ, the VERY SAME spirit that rose Jesus from the DEAD, lives within YOU! 🤪

Now that you know we’re Waging War. 🗡️🫡Tomorrow, Thursday the 14th, we will be hosting our first on campus bible study of the year! Come on out as we kick off the year in “Basic Training 🪖”! 👏🏾

Bible study will be hosted at 6:00pm (Directly after the Auxiliary Interest Meeting) in the Diehn School of Music room 1102. We can’t wait to see you guys to get ready to Wage War. 🗡️

It’s that time! 🥁🥁🥁 We would like to take a moment to introduce the E.I. theme of the year…. “Waging War🗡️”! This is centered around our verse of the year Ephesians 6:12 !

Come along as we dive deeper to understand the reality in which we face when walking through trials, battles, and tribulations. Not only do we look to grow in our levels of understanding, but we also strive to harness our spiritual weapons that aid us on our walk with Christ. 🛡️

We are so excited for the opportunity to minister throughout campus and the community to expand our spiritual development, as well as fellowship and bond with those around us! E.I. ! E.I. ! 🗣️🎙️

We got some events we’re heading to & we want you to meet us there! 😆👏🏾

First up, we will be at the organization fair today during activity hour (12:30-1:30) come and say hey or help recruit more members into the family. Either way, we want to see your face. 😌

Second, can someone say “First Bonding Night of the semester”? (We really hope you said it too.) Starting at 8pm on Friday night, (Sept 8th) in the Village 3 Community room we will be having Game Night. 🎲🎮 Whether you follow the ACTUAL rules of Uno or not 😂, come chill and make some memories. Invite ya friends too!

Good evening E.I family! Today is Word of the Day Wednesday and before you settle in for the evening let’s first tackle a question that revolves around Psalms 25:15.
Where is our focus?
In our everyday life we are surrounded with a multitude of people, places and things striving to take hold of our attention, and sometimes we can find ourselves distracted. Through this verse we are reminded that when we keep our eyes on God we can are guided by his protection and spirit of peace and love, from the things that attempt to draw us away from the places God has called us to take residency.
I hope this is an encouragement to you all, and that you have a great rest of your day!

If you’re new here and didn’t know, we’re not just a Gospel choir. We have many more extensions in the choir to serve or worship. Praise & Worship 🎶, Mime 🎭, Praise Dance 🕺🏽💃🏽, and Street Team 👥. If you’re interested in being in any of these auxiliaries this semester there is an “Auxiliary” interest form in our linktree. Interest meetings will be held in the month of September.

Uhhhh ohhhh, today is the day! Our first EI practice for the fall semester is TONIGHT! 💃🏾

6pm we’re having fellowship & 7pm starts rehearsal. Invite ya friends, invite ya roommates, invite the person in your phone that you just met at a party last night. 👀 Just get out here!
