Dear posers, NOICE 2021 is canceled. It’s simply too popular and would surely be a super-spreader event.

Greg Steele (Artist Wrangler), Juan Marable (Beer Snob), Greg Thompson (Business Crab), and O’Connor Brewing (Party Spot) all agree that NOICE should skip this year. It’s not a show we’re willing to compromise about or water down. We’ll just wait until we can safely do the indoor winter show we’ve always done.

But in the meantime, we’ll try to make the year less depressing by being more active online with reviews and recommendations. And if you want comics, Local Heroes has been holding it down all pandemic with new releases from reputable alternative publishers. And Jason Hamlin has a pop-up shop up in Richmond called Cerebral Vortex and it’s worth the trip.

Stay safe and we’ll see you in 2022.
