Get outside with Norfolk Park Rangers this June as we wrap up the month with three great programs for all ages🌿
🦉 Birding with a Ranger
Wednesday, June 17 | 9–10 a.m. at Lambert’s Point Open Space (4303 Powhatan Ave.)
Learn how to identify local birds by sight and sound as we take a relaxed walk through the park in search of warblers, woodpeckers, wading birds, and more. All ages welcome.
👣 Tots on the Trail
Friday, June 19 | 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Lakewood Ranger Station (1612 Willow Wood Dr.)
Walk, roll, or carry your little ones along the trail while exploring nature through simple conservation activities, story time, crafts, and a short park walk.
🦅 Birding with a Ranger
Sunday, June 21 | 9–10 a.m. at Lafayette Park Basketball Court (3500 Granby St.)
Join us for another leisurely birding walk as we look and listen for a variety of seasonal birds and learn basic ID skills. All ages welcome.
Each event is a fun way to explore nature, learn something new and enjoy our beautiful parks. Dress for the weather; closed‑toe shoes are recommended. See you on the trail! 🌳✨
