The piece I started and walked away from in frustration. I blamed the paper, blamed the paint. What I couldn’t see was that I wasn’t ready for her yet. It took weeks of practice and work on other projects before my eyes adjusted to see what had begun. The echos of stormy clouds drew me back. With a lighter heart led by joy and not perfection I returned to this piece, and I am so proud to share her with you. “Wild Resilience” 8 x 8 inch watercolor on stretched paper joins my Everywhere, Everything collection. There she is, and I love her. Inspired by The final piece of my Everywhere, Everything collection. Showing at .studio.on.colley for the Initiative student show March 22nd. Time TBA.
