Next event for the STUD
🔸American Bucking Bull Inc. BSN Inside the Bull Pens presented by Rockin T Cultivation🔸
First off, on behalf of the ABBI and Bucking Stock News, we would like to invite you to come watch the Top 40 Futurity calves in the country perform December 11-12 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center perform for their share of $50,000! If you are in town for the Official NFR Experience, and are a fan of the animal athletes, you want want to miss this show. It is FREE ADMISSION, the whole family can come watch for free. Maybe one day, you will see one of these young bulls bucking at the NFR!
The Top 40 have been split in to two different groups. Twenty bulls per day will buck. The Top 20 overall from this event will advance to another Futurity January 1 back in Fort Worth! We have picked out some studs for you to keep an eye out for! Check out the details below! 👇🏻
Friday:
▪️912 Renegade-Jake Mann/ Stewart Shepard/ Dean Wilson
This is a big good looking baldy out of the right. The longer he bucks the stronger he gets, and it seems like he is just getting everything figured out. This might be a sleeper that many people don’t know about.
▪️C319 Poppa’s Pride- Copenhaver/Hilton Bull Co
319 was one of the hardest bucking calves that we had seen early on in the year. He wasn’t patterned on the road, but he has figured it out now. He was 89.80 at the world finals, which was in the same complex we are bucking at this weekend. Look for big things from Poppa’s Pride.
▪️659 Dirty Beaver- Barthold/Wilson
659 barely snuck into the event. He qualified at number 40 which was a shock to most. He has been 90+ on 4 different occasions at ABBI events. Dean Wilson is on the trigger and I’m sure he will have him dialed in and ready to be 90+ again. Dirty Beaver might be headed to the bank with a damn big check after this weekend!!
▪️915 Mean Streak- Martínez Bucking Bulls/4G
We typically don’t see Martinez enter futurities, but when they do, you can count on them to be buckers. This is a little grey bull that should turn back in the gate to the left and be pretty gassy.
Saturday:
▪️319 Red Rain- McClellan Creek/Lidgard
Red Rain got a little to close at Ardmore and had to take a jump forward to clear the chutes. If it hadn’t been for that, he might have won the whole thing. He burst on to the scene last year with a huge 93.60 trip. He has won a check everywhere he has been since then, and we don’t look for that to change this weekend.
▪️G6 El Cid- Rockin R/ Jim & Shannon Barr
G6 is the biggest bull in the field, and he looks more like a classic bull than a futurity calf. He was 93.60 on his last two outs, winning Ardmore and the World Finals. Let’s see if he can keep the winning streak going and do it three time in a row!
▪️91 Wash*ta Red- Eldred Cattle
Brennon Eldred is bringing this calf to town. He looked really solid at Ardmore. 91 is out of the left and turns back in the gate to the left. Look for him to stay in the top 20 and advance to Cowtown Coliseum at the beginning of the year.
▪️9046 Skrewball- Bucking Fun Group/Red Laces Cattle Co.
This might be the most intense calf of the weekend. He impressed us the first time we got to see him at Belton last July. Skrewball was 91 points at the world finals and I’d be willing to bet Beau Mills has him ready to be 90+ again.
