You cannot expect your community to constantly show up for you if you never show up for your community.

Support is supposed to go both ways.

You can’t ask people to share your business, recommend your work, attend your events, buy your products, book your services, and celebrate your wins—while you stay completely silent when it’s their turn to be supported.

Community isn’t just about what you can receive from it. It’s about what you contribute to it.

Share someone else’s work. Congratulate their wins. Recommend their business. Show up to their events. Comment on their posts. Speak their name in rooms they aren’t in.

It costs absolutely nothing to clap for somebody else.

And here’s the beautiful part: when we genuinely support each other, everybody grows.

I don’t want to build in a community where everyone is competing to see who can stand tallest alone. I want to build in one where we reach back, pull each other up, and make enough room at the table for all of us.

Because if you want your community to pour into you, make sure you’re pouring something back into your community too. 🖤
