Meet the Owner – Derick
As we begin assembling our 2026 Scream Team, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and personally thank each and every one of you who has supported us over the years.
My name is Derick Moore, owner of FOS Productions, and this year marks my 8th season in the haunted attraction industry. What started as a dream has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible support of our guests, staff, friends, family, and community.
To everyone who has visited Field of Screams Nixa, The Haunted Forest, and Coulrophobia over the years —thank you. Every ticket purchased, every scream, every laugh, every shared post, and every word-of-mouth recommendation has helped us continue doing what we love.
One thing many people may not know about me is that my true passion is the process. I love our team envisioning an idea and turning it into something real. From the first sketch on paper to the final details guests experience on opening night, creating immersive environments and unforgettable moments is what drives me every day.
But the truth is, I don’t do this alone.
Field of Screams is built by an incredible team of talented people who pour their hearts into this event. From our designers, set builders, makeup artists, scare actors, marketing team, operations staff, security team, guest services team, and countless volunteers and supporters, every person plays an important role in making the magic happen.
Our goal has always been simple: to provide a safe, memorable, and entertaining experience for everyone who visits our attractions. Whether you’re coming for the scares, the atmosphere, or simply a fun night out with friends and family, we want every guest to leave with lasting memories.
This year, we’re taking the next big step as we prepare to open an all-new Field of Screams attraction in Branson, Missouri, and I couldn’t be more excited. Bringing our brand to one of the nation’s top entertainment destinations is an incredible opportunity, and we’re committed to creating something truly special.
As interviews and auditions begin this week, I am incredibly excited to meet the next generation of scare actors and team members who will help bring Field of Screams Branson to life. The passion, creativity, and energy of our team has always been the heart of what we do, and I can’t wait to see the talent that joins us for this new chapter.
I also want to extend a huge thank you to our partners at Ballparks of America for believing in our vision and hosting this event. Their partnership has been instrumental in making this expansion possible, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring Field of Screams to Branson.
The future has never looked brighter—or scarier.
