It's heartbreaking when we show up to our venue and there's a pile of trash at our zero-waste venue left behind from visitors throughout the week. it is NOT the responsibility of our student volunteers (Gargoyles) to pick up after you, especially at a venue that does not have trash. Please do better so we can keep our events a positive place for all who visit and volunteer!

Some reminders!

Hey everyone,

Last night we had several instances of outside alcohol being brought into our venue. This is very serious as we can lose our liquor license. Those guests were asked to leave the concert.

We also had a serious issue with a guest swearing at and using derogatory language towards one of our student volunteers known as Gargoyles. Such behavior is unacceptable anywhere, and especially towards a kid who is volunteering their time at a free concert. Any instance of this type of behavior will result in immediate dismissal from the concert without an opportunity to return.

We want to keep our concerts fun, safe, and inclusive! Please don't be THAT person who creates an unwelcoming & unfriendly environment.

We will only ever cancel an event if there's lightning in the vicinity or torrential downpour/hail. Keep an eye on the radar & bring your rain gear, but should we decide to cancel or delay a concert we will be sure to promptly notify you all on our Facebook & Instagram accounts!

Please be respectful of our student volunteers' time!

We work with a contractor outside of Boulder County to ensure our venue stays Zero-Waste and follow very specific guidelines/procedures to do so.

We also do not have any trash receptacle at the venue and all our food vendors adhere to our mission. Please take home any disposables you may have brought from somewhere else. Thank you!

Over the past few weeks there has been an increase in vandalism and extensive littering at Whistle Stop Park, the Rock & Rails concert venue. This has been an issue for the past couple of years resulting in locks installed on compost and recycle bins since 2024. Those bins are now being pried open.....

Hey everyone! Please read & share.

We love our venue SO MUCH and are ecstatic to bring you these free live music every week during the summer!

However, we cannot maintain this concert series if our bins get contaminated and don't follow our new protocols that we have to adhere to. One such rule in addition to no contamination is that all our bags have to have linings in them. We cannot ask our student volunteers (the Gargoyles) to be reaching in every week to fix and clean up your trash; that is not their job.

Please be considerate of our venue & volunteers so we can continue to enjoy this fun & free event!
